Russ Sharek is a classically-trained theatrical clown and clown teacher. They have been described as wiser than a rubber duck, a zen fool, and a magical f***ing wizard, among other things. Russ was allegedly the inspiration for Analog Nowhere's BSDClown. They communicate using English, toki pona, Esperanto, silly voices, funny faces, strange noises, dramatic hand gestures, and colorful expletives. Russ learned from some of the best clowns and physical performers in the world, including Aitor Basuri from SpyMonkey, Avner the Eccentric, the New York Goofs, and Angela DeCastro of the Why Not Institute. They created a clown theater program at a circus center and are currently working to renovate a building into a clown school, artists residency program, and theatrical play space.

He is also an advocate for people-first company culture, remote work, and constant learning. Outside of work, Mark is a husband, dad, drummer, entrepreneur, and photographer. He co-founded the Seattle Whiskey Collective.

mb bischoff writes poems and programs in Brooklyn. She is the co-founder and CEO of Lickability, a software studio. mb began blogging and podcasting in 2003 and got their start in tech as IT Director of PodcastPeople at age 13. She studied human-computer interaction at the New Jersey Institute of Technology before joining The New York Times. She worked at Tumblr as an engineer, engineering manager, and product manager. mb is an acclaimed speaker, giving talks at conferences focused on the intersections of technology and culture.
